Ebc red stuff brakes for your Subaru! Upgrade your stopping without staining your fancy wheels with brake dust!

Welcome to this week's #modmonday! Trying to bring this week to a halt early by stopping and checking @ebcbrakes red stuff for my Forester with Subaru four piston calipers.

Here they are! Ready to bring your world and car to a quick halt!

When looking for brakes for my daily driver the two areas that are most important to me are upgraded braking performance and silent operation. And with those I came to Ebc's red stuff which offers exactly that as well as very low dusting for the performance. What more can you ask for in a performance brake option!?

With these pads fitted on the Forester I found my braking distance has significantly decreased, a few hard brakes show the stock spring Forester will happily try and do front wheelies when you put the pedal down. Which is confidence inspiring especially when your Forester is lifted with larger A/t tires. If you are running a lightweight wheel and sticky tire expect amazing results.

You will notice quite a bit of dust during the "brake in" period when you run through the Ebc's brake in pad material. Unlike other manufacturers who may make you follow their precise laborious pad break in guides to get their pads working properly, once the "break in" material is gone you are ready to be impressed by your new found stopping power!

Prior to the Forester I had these pads on my Wrx and they were always up to the task while keeping my wheels nice and clean. I assume the same will be true and I will add any further updates but I expect great performance, low dust operation and quiet execution as they never let me down before.

On a final note I would also like to give a huge shoutout to Steven over at Ebc Usa, if you follow along with me you know I had a caliper lock up on my test drive and ruined my brand new pads and rotors. I sent an email about purchasing two pads to replace the burnt pads. First off he apologized for what happened, not Ebc's fault in the slightest and then went out of his way to just send me new pads for free. Extremely grateful for a company to help me out when they didn't have to. Just another reason to buy all my future brake parts from them and only them.

When calipers go bad… This poor pad saw extreme abuse over a mile or two. Ebc took care of me by helping send me out a replacement set!
