Iag turbo and AVCS braided oil line! Keep the oil flowing!

Hey!.... Welcome to another #modmonday, where I give you my take on an installed part on one of my Subarus. This week we are looking into the @Iagperformance stock turbo and ACVS oil line that replaces the factory hard oil lines.

When replacing a turbo with an Oem offering there is one part that isn't a very fun part of the task. Realigning the oil feed line for the turbo. These hardlines are often known for getting hairline cracks and spilling oil quickly when a leak pops up. Why not fix this before it becomes an issue.

That repair/mod comes from Iag in the form of their braided lines. Making swapping turbos a breeze and keeping the oil leaks at bay with a durable tough braided line that will not fail. When I upgraded my Forester turbo and struggled lining up the factory line, I knew the next time the engine was out it would be replaced.

The biggest challenge of this mod is installing it, if you are removing your engine or intake manifold this would be your best time. Otherwise this can be a bit of a bear to install, given it runs underneath the turbo inlet and intake manifold. I have completed both of my installs with the engine removed from the car, which makes it a very simple install.

With the lines installed I have had zero issues, Routing can be a bit of a pain as the lines as they run a tad long. This coupled with constant engine vibration can cause issues if it rubs through a fuel line, electrical line or brake line. So take note of your routing when running it.
